In recent years, environmental issues and climate change have become increasingly serious issues. This is evidenced by the fact that Earth’s average temperature is increasing. One of the most relevant causes are human activities, specifically emissions of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and methane. The dramatic consequences of rising temperatures include melting polar ice caps and glaciers, sea level rise, more frequent and severe weather events, and disruptions to ecosystems and biodiversity. Dealing with why temperatures are rising and what happens because of it is super important for everyone working together to fight climate change and deal with its effects.

About the Project?
The chemical industry is committed to playing a key role in the systemic transition to a circular economy and sustainable development, in which resources and materials are continuously cycled to eliminate waste, while creating value for all. A circular chemistry will optimize resource efficiency across chemical value chains and enable a closed-loop, waste-free chemical industry.
CCDE is a project that aims to increase the interest of high school students to study the topic of circular chemistry through the use of digital tools and to have new educational methods for the teachers adaptable on the digital era. Teachers and students can play together a decisive role in building a new future: education plays an important role in developing experts and a new generation of active citizens educated in lifecycle thinking and extensive cooperation.
